Kim Zolciak has publicly acknowledged borrowing money from her daughter, Ariana Biermann, to cover household expenses during a period of financial hardship. In a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Zolciak explained that she had no financial support from her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, who has not contributed to the household since his last NFL season in 2015, despite obtaining employment in 2024.
Zolciak clarified that she had repaid the money borrowed from Ariana and maintained a spreadsheet to keep track of the repayments. She also confirmed that her daughter Brielle had assisted with utility bills during this challenging time .
Previously, Ariana had expressed frustration over the lack of transparency regarding her finances, stating she didn’t know how much she had earned or how it was spent. She claimed both Zolciak and Kroy Biermann were responsible for mishandling the funds . 
Despite the financial challenges, Zolciak emphasized her efforts to support her family and stabilize her finances. She also mentioned that she is currently dating someone new after a long period focused on family responsibilities
