Battlefield 6 is finally making its long-awaited return — and you’re invited. EA and Battlefield Studios just confirmed the open beta schedule and release date for their blockbuster FPS reboot.

The Open Beta kicks off with early access for Battlefield Labs members and Twitch Drops participants on August 7–8, followed by two open weekends available to everyone: 
- August 9–10: Beta Weekend #1
- August 14–17: Beta Weekend #2
Pre-load starts as early as August 4, giving indie and triple-A fans alike time to prepare.
Battlefield 6 officially launches on October 10, 2025, with physical and digital releases priced around $70 for the Standard Edition and $99 for the Phantom Edition with bonus content.
EA executives revealed that the game supports crossplay between PC and consoles, and surprisingly, the beta shows it can run smoothly on older gear—like Intel 10th-gen or AMD Ryzen 3000 CPUs paired with an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT GPU. But don’t expect it to run on handhelds like the Steam Deck; anti-cheat systems are incompatible with SteamOS.
New features fans are hyped for include:
- A return to classic class roles (Assault, Recon, Engineer, Support)
